This course is designed for a maximum of 12 students and will occur over the course of two days. This course will include classroom instruction as well as shooting range exercises.

• Protection of Students

• Interaction of license holders with first responders

• Tactics for denying an intruder entry into a classroom or school facility

• Methods for increasing a license holder's accuracy with a handgun while under duress

​

Participation in this course requires each participant to have a valid Texas LTC certification.​

General facilities analysis (with observation group of up to 6
personnel – approximately 8 hours)
Four buildings

• Exterior and interior safety measure assessment

• Evaluation of potential failure points

• Potential camera – dead zones

• Visitor/vendor access

Verbal evaluation immediately on-site

• Laws relating to carrying a handgun

• Safety storage and usage

• Interaction with law enforcement

• Handgun safety

• Range qualification

• Administrative LTC Submittal

The package maybe be added to School Safety Training but will require an additional day of training 3-5 hours at the shooting range.

• Defensive shooting

• Shooting from cover/concealment

• Distance shooting discipline

• Shooting while advancing/retreating

• Close quarters shooting

• Additional shooting under duress

• Developing natural point of aim shooting skills​

All buildings

• Room by room analysis – hard corners, entry prevention, emergency exit strategies

• Individual building accessibility evaluation

• Written summary and detailed evaluation at the building and room level

• Detailed report normally available within three weeks of final assessment.

• Requires additional full day(s) campus access, room listings and individual campus maps)

​This option includes developing intrusions situations and involving participants in outcome scenarios. Will include post scenario analysis and critical assessment.

Enactments will involve non-lethal enactment weapons and safety equipment but will strive to portray an very intense realistic, intrusion situation and possible resolution.

​

One day training which will be prefaced by consultation with school administration to develop scenario planning.

This option will include a walk-through of any building, storage facility, gymnasium, or series of structures the customer wishes.  The walk-through will include analysis of hard-corners, possible defensive/tactical vantage point, vulnerable areas, etc.

The analysis will also include a review and list of recommendations for room security/access denial as will as potential improvements to enhance security.
